Located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Quilted Mitten Studio offers professional longarm quilting services
on a Gammill Ascend. Our services include computerized edge-to-edge quilting which means an
overall design that is uniform across the quilt surface. There are so many choices in edge-to-edge digital designs! We will work with you to find a pattern that you love and that complements your work.
(We accept a very limited number of custom quilts per year.)

Sewing and quilting have been life-long passions of mine. However, I found my niche with longarm quilting!
I quilt on a Gammill Ascend which, in addition to being a great creative outlet, I enjoy because there is always more to learn. As Quilted Mitten Studio begins its seventh year, I continue to love working with other quilters to create their ideal finished product!

I made my first quilt my senior year of college in 2000 as a stress relief from my studies. After a brief Mechanical Engineering career, I decided to stay home with my three sons.
Since my “retirement,” I have been teaching and working part-time in a local quilt shop. I enjoy the entire process of making a quilt, but my favorite step is quilting! I love choosing quilting patterns and watching the impact it makes on a quilt.
